Textual Chef

Appendix B · Gifts

The reference, given

One to three years of Textual Chef, sent to someone as a redemption code — now, or on the day you choose. Nothing renews on them; a gift should not become a bill. Most gifts for cooks are gadgets that end up in a drawer. This one is the drawer-free option: a reference that updates itself, arrives on time, and is never the wrong size.

Gifts are always the full annual plan: every recipe, every feature, no renewal surprises for the recipient.

Payment is handled by Stripe. The recipient gets an email with their code.

Questions, answered plainly

How the gift works

What does the recipient actually get? An email with a redemption code and your note. Redeeming it unlocks the full reference — every recipe, the batch dial, pantry matching, and lists — for the length you chose. No payment details are ever asked of them.

Will it renew or charge them when it ends? No. A gift ends when it ends. There is no card on file, no auto-renewal, no dunning emails. If they want to continue, that is their decision to make at full information.

Can I send it on a specific day? Yes — schedule any date and time within 90 days, in your timezone. Or send it now; delivery takes minutes, which makes this a workable gift on the day itself.

Can I see what I am giving? The entire catalog is public: browse all 2,000+ recipes, full method included. The subscription adds the working tooling around them.

What if it is not right for them? The standard 30-day money-back guarantee applies to gifts. Email support@textualchef.com.
