Blind Tasting

One dish from the reference, served as a bare ingredient list. Ingredients arrive one at a time, common ones first. Name the dish in six turns. Same dish for everyone; a new one at midnight.

How it plays

  1. Two ingredients are on the table to start. Every guess or pass turns over another.
  2. The clues run from generic to telling: salt says nothing, star anise says quite a lot.
  3. The cuisine is disclosed after your second turn, the course after your fourth.
  4. Six turns. The result copies as a small grid, spoiler-free, the way these things do.

Every answer is a real entry in the reference: the ingredient list you just read is the actual list, and the recipe behind it is free, in full.
