Ingredients

  • 4 oz blanco tequila
  • 8 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • 4 oz fresh orange juice
  • 2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 tsp agave syrup (or simple syrup)
  • 2 tsp kosher salt (for rimming)
  • 2 tsp chili powder or Tajin (for rimming)
  • as needed ice cubes
  • 8 oz grapefruit soda (Jarritos or Squirt)
  • 4 citrus wheels (grapefruit or lime), sliced

Instructions

    Mix 2 tsp kosher salt (for rimming) and 2 tsp chili powder or Tajin (for rimming) together on a small plate. Rub a wedge of grapefruit around the rim of two glasses or clay cups, then press into the salt and chili mixture to coat the rim.

    Fill the rimmed glasses with ice cubes. Pour 4 oz blanco tequila, 8 oz fresh grapefruit juice, 4 oz fresh orange juice, 2 oz fresh lime juice, and 2 tsp agave syrup (or simple syrup) over the ice.

    Top each glass with 8 oz grapefruit soda (Jarritos or Squirt) and stir gently to combine.

    Garnish with 4 sliced citrus wheels (grapefruit or lime) and serve immediately.
