Ingredients

  • 4 slices thick-cut white sandwich bread
  • 4 oz deli ham
  • 4 oz deli turkey
  • 2 oz Swiss cheese, sliced
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup raspberry jam

Instructions

  1. 1

Spread 2 tsp Dijon mustard on one side of each slice of thick-cut white sandwich bread.

  2. 2

Layer 4 oz deli ham, 4 oz deli turkey, and 2 oz sliced Swiss cheese on half the bread slices. Top with remaining slices mustard-side down. Press gently.

  3. 3

In a shallow bowl, whisk 2 large eggs, 1/4 cup whole milk, and 1/8 tsp salt until smooth.

  4. 4

Melt 2 tbsp unsalted butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.

  5. 5

Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, soaking both sides for about 10 seconds per side.

  6. 6

Cook sandwiches until deep golden brown on the bottom, 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook until golden and cheese is melted, 3-4 minutes more. Internal temperature of meat should reach 145 F.

  7. 7

Dust with 2 tbsp powdered sugar and serve with 1/4 cup raspberry jam for dipping.
