Ingredients

  • 6 ripe pink guavas, chopped
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 4 cups ice cubes

Instructions

  1. 1

Wash and roughly chop 6 chopped ripe pink guavas, removing the blossom and stem ends. No need to peel.

  2. 2

Add guavas and half of the 4 cups cold water to a blender. Blend on high for 90 seconds until pureed.

  3. 3

Strain the puree through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, pressing with a spoon to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the seeds and pulp.

  4. 4

Add the remaining water, 2 tbsp granulated sugar, and 2 tbsp fresh lime juice to the pitcher. Stir until the sugar dissolves.

  5. 5

Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as desired. Serve over 4 cups ice cubes in tall glasses.
