Aperol Grapefruit Spritz
A bold twist on the classic Italian aperitivo that replaces prosecco with freshly squeezed grapefruit juice for a tangier, more citrus-forward spritz. The bittersweet Aperol and tart grapefruit are a natural match.
Ingredients
- 3 oz Aperol
- 3 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- 2 oz prosecco (chilled)
- 1 oz soda water (chilled)
- as needed ice cubes
- 1 grapefruit slice (for garnish)

Fill a large wine glass generously with as needed ice cubes.

Pour in 3 oz Aperol and 3 oz fresh grapefruit juice.

Add 2 oz prosecco (chilled) and 1 oz soda water (chilled), then stir very gently just to combine — preserve the bubbles.

Garnish with 1 grapefruit slice (for garnish) on the rim and serve immediately.
