Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz London dry gin
  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 3 oz dry Champagne or Prosecco, chilled
  • as needed ice cubes
  • 1 lemon twist (for garnish)

Instructions

    Chill a Champagne flute or coupe glass.

    Fill a cocktail shaker with as needed ice cubes.

    Add 1 1/2 oz London dry gin, 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice, and 1/2 oz simple syrup to the shaker.

    Shake vigorously for about 10-12 seconds until well chilled.

    Strain into the chilled Champagne flute.

    Top gently with 3 oz chilled dry Champagne or Prosecco, pouring slowly to preserve the bubbles.

    Garnish with 1 lemon twist (for garnish) and serve immediately.
