Ingredients

  • 6 slices white sandwich bread, toasted
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 6 oz sliced turkey breast
  • 4 bacon strips, cooked crisp
  • 2 leaves green leaf lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 cup potato chips, for serving
  • 2 pickle spears, for serving

Instructions

    Toast all 6 slices toasted white sandwich bread until golden brown.

    In a small bowl, mix together 2 tbsp mayonnaise and 2 tsp Dijon mustard.

    Spread the mayo-mustard mixture on one side of each piece of bread.

    For each sandwich, place a piece of toasted bread on a plate and layer with 2 leaves green leaf lettuce and 1 sliced tomato.

    Add half of the 6 oz sliced turkey breast slices and 4 cooked crisp bacon strips.

    Place a second slice of bread on top (mayo side up).

    Layer more lettuce, 1 sliced avocado, and the remaining turkey.

    Season with to taste salt and to taste freshly ground black pepper to taste.

    Cut the sandwich diagonally into quarters and secure each quarter with a toothpick if needed.
