Honey Garlic Chicken
Succulent chicken glazed in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce that is utterly craveable. A trendy Asian-American dish that combines caramelized garlic with floral honey for the perfect balance.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 5 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 16 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 tsp sesame seeds

Heat 3 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add 1.5 lbs cut into bite-sized pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes until no longer pink. Remove and set aside.

In the same wok, add 16 minced garlic cloves and 1 tbsp minced fresh ginger. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the garlic becomes golden and fragrant. Be careful not to burn.

In a small bowl, whisk together 5 tbsp honey, 3 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp rice vinegar, and 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes.

Pour the sauce into the wok with the garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until it starts to caramelize and thicken.

Return chicken to the wok and toss until completely coated in the glaze. Cook for 1-2 minutes until heated through.

Drizzle with 1 tsp sesame oil. Top with 2 sliced green onions and 2 tsp sesame seeds.
