  • 2 cans chickpeas (15 oz cans), canned, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp cold water
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

Instructions

    In a food processor, combine 2 cans canned, drained and rinsed chickpeas (15 oz cans), 1/4 cup tahini, the juice from 1 juiced lemon, 2 minced garlic cloves, 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 1/2 tsp ground cumin, and 1/2 tsp salt.

    Process until smooth, about 1-2 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed.

    Add 2 tbsp cold water and process again until creamy and smooth.

    Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with additional olive oil and sprinkle with 1/4 tsp paprika.
