Ingredients

  • 2 bottles Champagne or dry sparkling wine (Prosecco or Cava), well chilled
  • 1/4 cup creme de cassis (blackcurrant liqueur)
  • 8 fresh blackberries or raspberries (for garnish)

Instructions

    Chill your Champagne flutes in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving if possible.

    Pour about 1 tablespoon of 1/4 cup creme de cassis (blackcurrant liqueur) into the bottom of each flute.

    Slowly top each glass with well chilled Champagne or dry sparkling wine (Prosecco or Cava), pouring at an angle to preserve the bubbles. Fill to about three-quarters full.

    Drop one or two fresh blackberries or raspberries (for garnish) into each glass as a garnish. Serve immediately.
