Beef Burgers
Juicy, classic beef burgers perfect for grilling or stovetop cooking with all your favorite toppings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 buns burger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- 2 American cheese slices
- 2 tbsp dill pickle slices
- 2 tbsp ketchup

Gently form 1 lb ground beef (80/20) into patties about 3/4-inch thick. Make a small indent in the center with your thumb.

Season both sides of each patty generously with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.

Heat a skillet or grill to medium-high heat.

Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side until a meat thermometer reads 160°F (71°C) for medium.

Top each patty with 2 American cheese slices in the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.

Toast 4 buns burger buns lightly if desired.

Assemble burgers by placing patties on buns with 4 lettuce leaves, 4 tomato slices, 2 tbsp dill pickle slices, and 2 tbsp ketchup.
