Blue Cheese Dressing
A bold, creamy dressing loaded with crumbled blue cheese, buttermilk tang, and a hint of garlic, ideal for salads, wings, and raw vegetables.
Ingredients
- 4 oz blue cheese (such as Gorgonzola or Roquefort), crumbled
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tsp white wine vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly ground

In a medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, and 1/4 cup buttermilk. Whisk until smooth.

Stir in 1 clove minced garlic and 2 tsp white wine vinegar.

Fold in about two-thirds of the 4 oz crumbled blue cheese (such as Gorgonzola or Roquefort), mashing slightly with a fork to create a creamy base while leaving some chunks intact.

Season with 1/4 tsp kosher salt and 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper. Stir to combine.

Top with the remaining blue cheese (such as Gorgonzola or Roquefort). Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld. Store covered for up to one week.
