Charcuterie Chips
Crackers layered with melted cheese, crisped prosciutto, and a dab of fig jam, baked until crunchy for a viral bite-sized take on the charcuterie board.
Ingredients
- 24 water crackers
- 4 oz thinly sliced prosciutto, torn into cracker-sized pieces
- 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
- 1/4 cup fig jam
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves, picked
- 1/4 tsp black pepper, cracked

Preheat the oven to 400°F and arrange 24 water crackers in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Top each cracker with 4 oz torn into cracker-sized pieces thinly sliced prosciutto and a pinch of 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the prosciutto edges turn crisp.

Switch the oven to broil and broil for 1 to 2 minutes, watching closely, until the tops are lightly browned and bubbling.

Let cool for 2 minutes so the chips firm up, then dot each one with 1/4 cup fig jam, scatter with 1 tsp picked fresh thyme leaves, and finish with 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper.
