Chai-Spiced Banana Date Smoothie
A creamy, naturally sweet smoothie blending ripe banana and Medjool dates with warm chai spices — cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger — for a satisfying dairy-free drink.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, peeled, frozen
- 4 Medjool dates (pitted), pitted
- 1.5 cups unsweetened oat milk (or other plant milk)
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1 pinch black pepper (freshly ground)
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

Make sure your 2 peeled, frozen ripe bananas are frozen for the thickest, creamiest texture.

Add 4 pitted Medjool dates (pitted) and 1.5 cups unsweetened oat milk (or other plant milk) to the blender first so the dates blend smoothly.

Add the bananas, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ground cardamom, 1/4 tsp ground ginger, 1 pinch black pepper (freshly ground), and 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract.

Blend on high for 60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more unsweetened oat milk (or other plant milk).

Taste and adjust spice levels. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
