Garlic Butter Ramen
Instant ramen noodles tossed in butter-fried garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil instead of the seasoning packet, topped with a soft-boiled egg for a viral upgrade on instant noodles.
Ingredients
- 2 blocks instant ramen noodles, seasoning packet discarded
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 soft-boiled eggs, halved
- 2 green onion, thinly sliced

Cook 2 blocks instant ramen noodles (seasoning packet discarded) in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes, until just tender, then drain and set aside.

Melt 1/4 cup unsalted butter in the same pot over medium heat and add 6 minced garlic cloves, stirring for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.

Return the noodles to the pot and toss with 2 tbsp soy sauce and 2 tsp toasted sesame oil until glossy and coated.

Divide between bowls and top each with 2 halved soft-boiled eggs and a scatter of 2 thinly sliced green onion.
