Cocktail Sauce
A bold, zesty condiment of ketchup, horseradish, lemon, and Worcestershire — the classic dipping sauce for shrimp cocktail, crab claws, and oysters.
Ingredients
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup prepared horseradish, drained
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp hot sauce (such as Tabasco)
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Combine 1 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup drained prepared horseradish, 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice, 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tsp hot sauce (such as Tabasco), and 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper in a bowl. Stir until smooth.

Taste and adjust: add more horseradish for heat, lemon juice for brightness, or hot sauce for spice.
