Ingredients

  • 2 cups ripe honeydew melon, peeled, seeded, cubed
  • 1 cup whole milk or half-and-half
  • 1 cup strong brewed black tea, cooled
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 8 tbsp cooked tapioca pearls (optional), cooked

Instructions

    Brew 1 cup strong brewed black tea and allow it to cool completely.

    Place 2 cups peeled, seeded, cubed ripe honeydew melon, 1 cup whole milk or half-and-half, the cooled tea, 2 tbsp granulated sugar, and 2 cups ice cubes into a blender.

    Blend on high speed for 30 to 45 seconds until completely smooth and frothy.

    If using 8 tbsp cooked cooked tapioca pearls (optional), divide them between two tall glasses.

    Pour the blended milk tea into the glasses and serve immediately with wide straws.
