Maple Bourbon Apple Cider Punch
A warming spiced punch that blends bourbon, fresh apple cider, and maple syrup with cinnamon and cloves for a crowd-pleasing autumn cocktail. Serve it warm from the pot or over ice for a year-round crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh apple cider (not apple juice)
- 2 cups bourbon whiskey
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 8 whole cloves
- 2 star anise pods
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 1 orange, thinly sliced

Combine 4 cups fresh apple cider (not apple juice), 2 cinnamon sticks, 8 whole cloves, and 2 star anise pods in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 10 minutes to infuse the spices, then reduce heat to low.

Stir in 1/4 cup pure maple syrup and 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice. Taste and adjust sweetness.

Remove the whole spices using a slotted spoon or fine-mesh strainer.

Add 2 cups bourbon whiskey to the pot and stir to combine. Keep over the lowest heat to stay warm without boiling off the alcohol.
