Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

  2. 2

Place the 4 salmon fillets fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each fillet.

  3. 3

In a small bowl, whisk together the 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper until well combined.

  4. 4

Brush the glaze generously over each salmon fillets fillet, making sure to coat the tops and sides.

  5. 5

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness. For fully cooked salmon, the internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C), or 125°F (52°C) for medium-rare.

  6. 6

The glaze should be caramelized and slightly bubbling when done. If desired, you can broil for the last 1-2 minutes to further caramelize the glaze.

  7. 7

Remove from the oven and let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
