Spiced Honey Rye Cookies

- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder

- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp orange zest

In a bowl, whisk together 1.5 cups rye flour, 1.5 cups all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ground ginger, 1/8 tsp ground cloves, 1/4 tsp ground allspice, and 1/4 tsp salt.

In another bowl, cream 1/2 cup butter (softened) and 1/2 cup sugar together for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.

Add 1/2 cup honey, 2 egg yolk, and 1/2 tsp orange zest to the butter mixture and beat until well combined.

Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
