Ingredients

  • 2 cups dry Spanish red wine (or any light dry red)
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda (Sprite or similar), chilled
  • as needed ice cubes
  • 1 lemon, sliced into rounds

Instructions

  1. 1

Fill two tall glasses generously with ice cubes.

  2. 2

Pour 2 cups dry Spanish red wine (or any light dry red) evenly between the two glasses.

  3. 3

Top each glass with 2 cups chilled lemon-lime soda (Sprite or similar). Do not stir vigorously — a gentle swirl preserves the bubbles.

  4. 4

Garnish each glass with a round of 1 sliced into rounds lemon and serve immediately.
