Ingredients

  • 12 oz fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated erythritol (or monk fruit sweetener)
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest, finely grated
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. 1

Combine 12 oz fresh or frozen cranberries, 1/2 cup granulated erythritol (or monk fruit sweetener), 1/2 cup fresh orange juice, 1/4 cup water, 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon, and 1/8 tsp salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

  2. 2

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 10-12 minutes.

  3. 3

Remove from heat and stir in 1 tsp finely grated orange zest.

  4. 4

Let cool to room temperature, then transfer to a jar or bowl. The relish will thicken further as it cools.

  5. 5

Serve at room temperature or chilled. Store refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
