Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs skinless salmon fillet, 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 tsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions
-
1
In a bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce, 3 tbsp honey, 2 cloves minced garlic cloves, 1 tsp grated fresh ginger, 2 tsp toasted sesame oil, 2 tsp rice vinegar, and 2 tsp cornstarch to make the glaze.
-
2
Add 1 1/2 lbs 1-inch cubes skinless salmon fillet to the bowl and gently toss to coat. Let marinate for 10 minutes at room temperature.
-
3
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes. Lightly coat the basket with cooking spray.
-
4
Arrange the salmon in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between pieces. Reserve remaining marinade. Air fry at 400°F for 7 to 9 minutes, shaking once halfway, until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and the edges are caramelized.
-
5
While the salmon cooks, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan over medium heat and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until thickened to a glaze consistency.
-
6
Toss the cooked salmon with the reduced glaze. Transfer to a plate and garnish with 2 tsp sesame seeds and 2 thinly sliced green onions. Serve over rice or greens.
