Ingredients

  • 2 cups brewed black iced tea (cooled), cooled
  • 6 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, dissolved), cooled
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 2 lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions

    Make the lemonade: stir together 6 tbsp fresh lemon juice, 4 tbsp simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, dissolved), and 1/2 cup cold water in a small pitcher until combined. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness.

    Fill two tall glasses with 2 cups ice cubes.

    Pour equal portions of 2 cups cooled brewed black iced tea (cooled) into each glass, filling halfway.
