Crawfish Dip
A warm, creamy dip featuring tender crawfish tails, sautéed holy trinity vegetables, and melted cheddar cheese. Perfect served with toasted baguette slices or crackers.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup celery, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb crawfish tails, chopped
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp green onions, sliced

Melt 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat.

Add 1/2 cup diced yellow onion, 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper, and 1/4 cup diced celery, cooking until softened for 5 minutes.

Stir in 2 cloves minced garlic and 1 lb chopped crawfish tails, sauteing for 3 minutes.

Reduce heat to low and blend in 8 oz softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup sour cream, and 1 tsp Cajun seasoning until smooth.

Fold in 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese until melted and the dip reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

Top with 2 tbsp sliced green onions and serve warm.
