Filipino Spaghetti

Ingredients
- 1 lb spaghetti pasta
- 1 lb ground pork
- 8 oz hot dogs, sliced, sliced
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1/2 medium yellow onion, finely diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- to taste salt and black pepper

Cook 1 lb spaghetti pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook 1 lb ground pork until browned, breaking it up as it cooks, about 8 minutes. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, sauté 4 cloves minced garlic and 1/2 medium finely diced yellow onion until softened, about 2 minutes.

Add 2 cups tomato sauce, 4 tbsp tomato ketchup, and 2 tbsp brown sugar. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.

Return ground pork to the pan and add 8 oz sliced hot dogs, sliced. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
