Garlic Shrimp Noodles
Pan-fried shrimp tossed with noodles in a garlicky butter sauce. This viral TikTok favorite is buttery, aromatic, and ready in 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 12 oz lo mein noodles or spaghetti
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp butter
- 8 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp rice vinegar
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- to taste salt and black pepper
- 2 scallions, sliced
- 2 tsp sesame seeds

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook 12 oz lo mein noodles or spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Season 1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp with to taste salt and black pepper. In a large skillet, melt half the 4 tbsp butter over high heat.

Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Internal temperature should reach 120°F. Transfer to a plate.

Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter and 8 cloves minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Return shrimp to the skillet. Add the cooked noodles, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tsp rice vinegar, and 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes. Toss everything together and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Top with 2 sliced scallions and 2 tsp sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
