Gin and Tonic
The quintessential British highball that lets quality gin shine alongside the bracing bitterness of tonic water. Simple to make and infinitely customizable with garnishes.
Ingredients
- 2 oz gin
- 5 oz premium tonic water, chilled
- as needed ice cubes
- 2 lime wedge (for garnish)
- 2 slices cucumber slices (for garnish)
Instructions

Fill a tall glass or balloon glass generously with as needed ice cubes.

Pour 2 oz gin over the ice.

Add 5 oz chilled premium tonic water slowly, pouring down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation. Do not stir vigorously.

Gently squeeze 2 lime wedge (for garnish) over the drink and drop it in.

Add 2 slices cucumber slices (for garnish) as additional garnish.

Give the drink one gentle stir from the bottom and serve immediately.
