Oven-Baked Barbecue Chicken
Juicy bone-in chicken thighs seasoned with a smoky rub and baked until caramelized with sweet barbecue sauce. A simple classic dish delivering sticky, savory flavor in every bite.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs bone-in skin-on chicken thighs, patted dry
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper, ground
- 1 cup gluten-free barbecue sauce

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with foil.

In a small bowl, combine 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp kosher salt, and 1/2 tsp ground black pepper.

Coat 3 lbs patted dry bone-in skin-on chicken thighs with 2 tbsp olive oil and rub evenly with spice mixture.

Place chicken skin-side up on baking sheet and bake 25 minutes.

Brush chicken with half of 1 cup gluten-free barbecue sauce and bake for 10 minutes.
