Classic BLT Sandwich
A timeless sandwich with crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomato layered between toasted bread and spread with mayo.
Ingredients
- 4 bacon, slices
- 4 bread, slices
- 2 lettuce, leaves
- 2 tomato, slices
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise

Place 4 bacon in a cold skillet, then turn heat to medium.

Cook the bacon, turning occasionally, until it reaches desired crispness and has reached an internal temperature of at least 145°F (63°C).

Transfer the cooked bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.

While the bacon is cooking, lightly toast 4 slices bread.

Spread 2 tbsp mayonnaise evenly on one side of each bread slice.

Layer 2 leaves lettuce on half of the bread slices.

Place 2 slices tomato on top of the lettuce.

Add the cooked bacon on top of the tomato slices.

Top with the remaining bread slices, mayonnaise side down.

Cut the sandwiches diagonally if desired and serve immediately.
