Classic Chicken Salad
Creamy chicken salad with celery, onions, and herbs. Perfect for sandwiches, wraps, or atop a bed of greens.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded
- 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice, fresh
- 2 tbsp fresh herbs, chopped (parsley, dill, or tarragon)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper

In a large bowl, combine 2 cups diced or shredded cooked chicken, 1/2 cup finely diced celery, and 1/4 cup finely diced red onion.

In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, and 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice.

Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture and stir to combine.

Add 2 tbsp chopped (parsley, dill, or tarragon) fresh herbs and season with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.

Stir gently until all ingredients are well combined.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
