Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 tbsp sriracha hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic clove, finely minced
  • 1 lime, zested
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 green onion, finely sliced

Instructions

  1. 1

Make sure 1/2 cup room temperature unsalted butter is fully softened so it blends evenly.

  2. 2

In a medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup unsalted butter, 2 tbsp sriracha hot sauce, 2 tbsp honey, 2 cloves finely minced garlic clove, 1 zested lime (zest only), 1/2 tsp kosher salt, and 2 finely sliced green onion. Stir vigorously with a fork until evenly incorporated.

  3. 3

Taste and adjust heat with more sriracha or sweetness with more honey.

  4. 4

Scrape the butter onto a sheet of plastic wrap and roll into a log shape, twisting the ends tightly to seal.

  5. 5

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm, or freeze for up to 2 months.

  6. 6

To serve, unwrap and slice into rounds. Place atop hot steaks, corn, biscuits, or cooked vegetables.
