Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita
A spicy-sweet twist on the classic margarita with fresh pineapple juice and jalapeño heat, perfectly balanced with tequila and lime.
Ingredients
- 2 oz silver tequila
- 1 1/2 oz fresh pineapple juice
- 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz agave nectar
- 2-3 slices jalapeño slices (seeds removed for less heat), sliced
- as needed tajin or chili-lime salt (for rim)
- as needed ice cubes
- 1 pineapple wedge (for garnish)

In a cocktail shaker, muddle 2-3 slices sliced jalapeño slices (seeds removed for less heat) gently to release the oils and spice.

Add 2 oz silver tequila, 1 1/2 oz fresh pineapple juice, 3/4 oz fresh lime juice, and 1/2 oz agave nectar to the shaker.

Fill the shaker with as needed ice cubes and shake vigorously for 15 seconds.

Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass and dip in as needed tajin or chili-lime salt (for rim) if desired.

Fill the glass with fresh ice and strain the cocktail into it.

Garnish with 1 pineapple wedge (for garnish) and an additional jalapeño slice if desired.
