Ingredients

  • 1 lb egg noodles
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 stalks green onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1

Cook 1 lb egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and divide among serving bowls.

  2. 2

Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add 6 minced garlic cloves and 2 tbsp minced fresh ginger, stirring for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 3

Add 1 lb ground pork and cook, breaking it up as it cooks, for 5-6 minutes until no longer pink.

  4. 4

Add 4 cups chicken broth, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, and 2 tsp brown sugar. Bring to a simmer.

  5. 5

  7. 7

Pour the gravy sauce over the noodles in the bowls.

  8. 8

Garnish with 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro and 2 stalks chopped green onion. Serve immediately.

Questions

Can I make Rad Na gluten-free?

Yes. The gluten in this entry is 1 lb egg noodles, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster sauce. Swap the pasta for a gluten-free one, cooked a minute short of its package time; the soy-based sauce for tamari or coconut aminos. Everything else proceeds as written.

How long does Rad Na keep?

Refrigerate leftovers within two hours and eat them within three days. Reheat gently on the stovetop.

Can I halve or double Rad Na?

Yes. As written it serves 4. Every ingredient in this entry carries precomputed half and double quantities, and the app's batch dial rewrites them inside each step. When doubling on the stovetop, use your widest pan or work in two batches so the food sears instead of steaming.
