Yorkshire Pudding
Traditional savory baked puddings featuring crispy outer walls and tender, airy centers. Served piping hot alongside roast dinners and rich gravy.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 large eggs, whisked
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Preheat oven to 425F (220C). Divide 1/4 cup vegetable oil evenly among six cups of a standard muffin pan and place in the oven to heat.

Whisk 1 cup all-purpose flour and 1/2 tsp fine sea salt together in a mixing bowl.

Add 4 whisked large eggs and half of the 1 cup whole milk, whisking until completely smooth and lump-free.

Whisk in the remaining whole milk until a thin batter forms, then rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.

Carefully remove the hot pan from the oven, quickly pour batter into each sizzled oil cup, and return to the oven.

Bake for 20 to 22 minutes without opening the oven door until puffed and deep golden brown.
