Bacon Butty
A classic British sandwich made with crispy fried bacon served between slices of soft buttered white bread with rich brown sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 back bacon slices
- 2 white bread slices
- 1 tbsp salted butter, softened
- 1 tbsp brown sauce

Heat a skillet over medium heat.

Fry 4 back bacon slices for 3 to 4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through to an internal temperature of 145F.

Spread 1 tbsp softened salted butter generously over one side of each slice of 2 white bread slices.

Spread 1 tbsp brown sauce over the buttered side of one slice of white bread slices.

Layer the cooked back bacon slices over the sauce, top with the second slice of white bread slices, and press down gently before serving.
