Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples (such as Honeycrisp or Fuji), cored, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. 1

Using a mandoline or sharp knife, slice 2 cored, thinly sliced medium apples (such as Honeycrisp or Fuji) as thin as possible, about 1/8 inch thick. Pat slices dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, mix 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon and 2 tsp granulated sugar together. Toss the apple slices in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly coated.

  3. 3

Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary. Do not overlap.

  4. 4

Air fry at 300°F for 15 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. The chips are done when they are golden at the edges and feel dry to the touch. They will crisp further as they cool.

  5. 5

Let cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes before serving. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
