  • 6 strips thin-cut bacon, strips halved crosswise
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly ground

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.

    Stuff each 12 pitted Medjool dates with one whole roasted almonds.

    Wrap each stuffed date with one halved strip of 6 strips strips halved crosswise thin-cut bacon and secure with a toothpick.

    Arrange wrapped dates on the wire rack. Grind 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper over the tops.
