  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly ground

Thread onto each skewer: 6 oz folded in half sliced Italian salami or pepperoni, 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (ciliegine), 1/2 cup kalamata olives (pitted), 8 oz drained, halved marinated artichoke hearts, 8 oz cut into 1-in pieces jarred roasted red peppers, and 24 leaves fresh basil leaves, repeating to fill.

    Arrange the finished skewers on a serving platter.

    Drizzle 1/4 cup Italian vinaigrette dressing evenly over all the skewers, then sprinkle with 1/2 tsp dried oregano and 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper.
