Butter Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp butter
- 8 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek)
- to taste salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1.5 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Heat 1.5 tbsp oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.

Add 8 minced garlic cloves and 1/2 tsp red chili flakes. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add 1.5 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they start to turn pink.

Push shrimp to the sides and add 4 tbsp butter to the center of the pan.

Once the butter is melted, stir in 1/2 tsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek), to taste salt, and 1/2 tsp black pepper.

Toss shrimp gently to coat with the butter mixture, cooking for 1-2 minutes more until pink and cooked through.

Internal temperature should reach 145°F.

Remove from heat and drizzle with 2 tbsp lemon juice.

Garnish with fresh 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro and serve immediately over rice or with naan.
