Creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta
Plump shrimp in a silky garlic cream sauce tossed with fettuccine or pasta of choice. Restaurant-quality comfort food ready in minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fettuccine or pasta
- 1.5 lbs shrimp (large, peeled)
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook 1 lb fettuccine or pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Meanwhile, pat 1.5 lbs shrimp (large, peeled) dry with paper towels and season with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.

Heat 4 tbsp butter and 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add 8 cloves minced garlic and 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add 1.5 lbs shrimp (large, peeled) and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.

Pour 1/2 cup dry white wine into the skillet and scrape up any browned bits. Let simmer for 1 minute.

Add 1 cup heavy cream and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated), stirring until smooth. Simmer for 2 minutes.

Return 1.5 lbs shrimp (large, peeled) to the skillet and stir in 2 tbsp lemon juice. Toss with the cooked pasta.

Garnish with 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
