Ingredients

  • 7 oz frozen acai packets (unsweetened, such as Sambazon), broken into chunks
  • 1 frozen banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or oat milk)
  • 2 tsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup granola (vegan-friendly)
  • 1 fresh banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries or mixed berries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes

Instructions

  1. 1

Add 7 oz broken into chunks frozen acai packets (unsweetened, such as Sambazon), 1 sliced frozen banana, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, and 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or oat milk) to a high-powered blender.

  2. 2

Blend on high, using a tamper if available, until completely smooth and very thick — the base should be thicker than a regular smoothie. Add a splash more almond milk only if needed to get the blender moving, but keep it as thick as possible.

  3. 3

Taste and sweeten with 2 tsp pure maple syrup if desired, then blend briefly to combine.

  4. 4

Divide the base evenly between two bowls.

  5. 5

Top each bowl with 1/2 cup granola (vegan-friendly), 1 sliced fresh banana, and 1/2 cup hulled and sliced fresh strawberries or mixed berries. Sprinkle with 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes.

  6. 6

    Serve immediately.
