  • 6 cups fresh-pressed apple cider
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 8 whole cloves
  • 2 whole star anise
  • 1 navel orange, sliced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 8 whole allspice berries

Instructions

    Combine 6 cups fresh-pressed apple cider, 2 cinnamon sticks, 8 whole cloves, 2 whole star anise, 8 whole allspice berries, 1 sliced navel orange, and 2 tbsp brown sugar in a large saucepan.

    Heat over medium heat until the cider just begins to simmer. Do not boil.

    Reduce heat to low and simmer gently for 15-20 minutes to allow the spices to fully infuse the cider.
