Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled, halved
  • 2 tbsp dried hibiscus flowers (Jamaica flowers)
  • 2 cups hot water (for steeping)
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 4 cups ice cubes

Instructions

    Steep 2 tbsp dried hibiscus flowers (Jamaica flowers) in 2 cups hot water (for steeping) for 5 minutes, then strain and let the tea cool to room temperature.

    Add 2 cups hulled, halved fresh strawberries, the cooled hibiscus tea, 2 cups cold water, 2 tbsp granulated sugar, and 2 tbsp fresh lime juice to a blender. Blend on high until smooth, about 60 seconds.

    Pour through a fine-mesh strainer into a large pitcher, pressing to extract the juice. Discard solids.

    Stir and taste, adjusting sugar or lime as needed.
