- 1 lb brussels sprouts, trimmed
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper, cracked
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook 1 lb trimmed brussels sprouts for 8 to 10 minutes until fork-tender, then drain well.

Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Spread the sprouts on the sheet and press each one flat with the bottom of a glass or measuring cup.

Drizzle with 1/4 cup olive oil and sprinkle with 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper, and 1 tsp garlic powder.
