Htipiti (Spicy Feta Pepper Dip)
A tangy Greek dip that blends creamy feta with roasted red peppers and a kick of crushed red pepper flakes. Ready in minutes and ideal as part of a mezze spread.
Ingredients
- 8 oz block feta cheese, crumbled
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup roasted red peppers (jarred, drained), patted dry
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 clove garlic clove

Pat 1 cup patted dry roasted red peppers (jarred, drained) very dry with paper towels to avoid a watery dip.

Add 8 oz crumbled block feta cheese, 4 oz softened cream cheese, the roasted peppers, 1 clove garlic clove, 2 tsp fresh lemon juice, and 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes to a food processor or blender.

Pulse until the mixture is mostly smooth with just a little texture remaining, scraping down the sides as needed.

With the processor running, drizzle in 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil and blend until creamy.

Taste and adjust lemon juice or red pepper flakes to your preference. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp dried oregano over the top.

Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with a little extra olive oil, and serve at room temperature.
