Ingredients

  • 4 fresh abalone, sliced
  • 4 abalone entrails, chopped
  • 1 cup short grain rice, soaked
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt

Instructions

    Heat 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil in a pot over medium heat and sauté the 2 minced garlic cloves until fragrant, about 1 minute.

    Add the 4 chopped abalone entrails and sauté for 2 minutes until cooked through to an internal temperature of 145F.

    Add the 4 sliced fresh abalone and 1 cup soaked short grain rice, stir-frying for 3 to 4 minutes until the rice becomes translucent.
