Shrimp Remoulade
A classic cold seafood dish featuring juicy poached shrimp tossed in a spicy, creamy Creole mustard remoulade sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Creole mustard
- 1/4 cup celery, finely diced
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.

Add 1 lb peeled raw shrimp and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until opaque and the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F.

Drain 1 lb peeled raw shrimp immediately and submerge in an ice bath to chill completely.

In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 2 tbsp Creole mustard, 1/4 cup finely diced celery, 1/4 cup sliced green onions, 2 cloves minced garlic, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp hot sauce, 1 tsp paprika, and 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley.

Pat 1 lb peeled raw shrimp dry with paper towels, toss in the sauce until coated, and chill before serving.
