Shrimp Saganaki
Tender shrimp sautéed in garlic and white wine, then topped with melted feta cheese and fresh tomatoes. A trending Mediterranean-influenced Lebanese dish that's elegant yet simple.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs large shrimp (peeled and deveined), patted dry
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 0.5 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup fresh tomatoes, diced
- 0.5 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 0.125 tsp red pepper flakes
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

Heat 3 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add 5 cloves minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add 1.5 lbs patted dry large shrimp (peeled and deveined) and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink, stirring occasionally.

Pour in 0.5 cup dry white wine and let simmer for 1 minute.

Add 1 cup diced fresh tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes.

Sprinkle 0.5 cup crumbled feta cheese evenly over the shrimp.

Cover the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until feta is slightly melted.

Drizzle with 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice.

Season with 0.125 tsp red pepper flakes, 0.5 tsp salt, and 0.25 tsp black pepper.
